Oceanblue Health & Fitness is open while New Zealand is at Alert Level 2 and we can't wait to see you!

  • BE KIND. Check in with each other.
  • wash and dry your hands. Use soap and water for 20 seconds.
  • Stay home if you are sick.
  • Cough & sneeze into your elbow. This stops droplets, and the virus, getting onto your hands.
  • keep a bit of space between you and others, 1m is recommended by the ministry of health while at level 2.

Here is what we are doing to help keep you safe at level 2:

 

  • Taking extra steps to clean and sanitize the gym. Along with our professional contracted cleaners, we will be cleaning equipment and surfaces more frequently and with extra care, using anti-viral and stronger disinfectant. We have also increased the number of hand sanitiser stations available.
  • Monitoring gym numbers. We will be limiting numbers of people in our facility to 100. Our software system allows us to monitor this. In the unlikely event we reach capacity, you may be asked to wait before entering the gym.
  • We will be asking you to respect others' space by keeping a minimum of 1metre distance from others on the gym floor.  Our reception and sign up area have been set up to allow for physical distancing at Alert Level 2.
  • our sauna and spa will remain closed. Until further notice.
  • No non-member casual Visits. Until further notice, no casual visits will be permitted at Oceanblue.
  • Cardio and weight machines. Most of our equipment allows for physical distancing.  Any machines that prevent members from physical distancing will be out of action. Thanks for your understanding.
  • Group fitness classes.
    • Group Fitness Studio (Maximum 16 participants)
      • Les Mills Virtual classes only
      • We are limiting numbers in classes to allow physical distancing.
      • Please stay in your 4m2 space as marked on the floor
    • spin (Maximum of 15 participants)
      • The spin studio has been set up to allow for physical distancing
    • Aquafit (Maximum of 16 participants)
      • No lane swimming permitted during AquaFIT

 Depending on demand, a booking system may be implemented.

As well as all of the abovE- Here is what you can do While at Oceanblue:

 

  • Stay home if you are unwell.
  • bring a clean sweat towel. Please use your towel in all workout areas. Entry will not be granted into the club without a clean towel.
  • Please wipe down all equipment after use. Spray and wipes are located throughout the club, including in the group fitness and spin studios.
  • you must bring your key tag. This allows for full contact tracing and quick, easy access.
  • Limit your visit to 2hours. This is a Ministry of Health requirement while we are at Alert Level 2.
  • bring your own drink bottle. You will be able to fill up your bottle but the drinking fountains will be out of use.
  • wash and dry your hands often. We also have hand sanitiser stations available.
  • Keep a safe distance of 1m from others. Respect others' space.
  • Keep left and keep moving. We miss you too but please keep moving to avoid congestion especially on stairways and walkways.
