As of 5am on Tuesday April 5, 2022, Members no longer require Vaccine Passports and vaccine mandates have been removed for our business.

 

HOW IT WORKS

The Government has announced changes to the  COVID-19 Protection Framework which you can read about here. New Zealand still follows a 3-level "traffic-light" approach to managing COVID-19.

Changes to mandated businesses and the use of Vaccine Passports.

The Government has announced from 11.59pm on Monday 4 April 2022, there will no longer be a requirement to use My Vaccine Passports in mandated businesses, and vaccine mandates for workers will also be removed.

Conditions of entry

COMING TO THE GYM UNDER THE COVID-19 PROTECTION FRAMEWORK

• Please do not enter the club if you are testing positive for Covid-19, or are a household contact completing a period of isolation.

• For your safety, we ask that you wear mask at all times except when exercising

• Wash or sanitise hands before entering the club

• Scan your membership keytag every time you enter the club

• Bring and use a sweat towel every time you work out

• Wipe down equipment before and after use

• Stay home if unwell

When scanning your Oceanblue key tag to gain entry into the club you’ll be confirming your agreement to these Conditions of Entry. You’ll also be confirming that you will abide by all Health & Safety procedures and protocols. 

 

 

FAQs

What does this mean for Oceanblue?

This means, as of Tuesday 5 April 2022, Vaccine Passports WILL NOT be required to gain entry into our facility. This includes members, staff, contractors and all visitors.

I’ve recovered from COVID-19 – can I come back to the gym? 

If you have been diagnosed as having COVID-19 and have recovered you can return to the gym. Remember to ease back into it!

Can I put my membership on hold if I get COVID?

Our usual hold policy applies, you can put your membership on hold for a minimum of 4-weeks and a maximum of 6-months, during which time your payments reduce to $5 per week.

 





 

Group Fitness:

Online booking is mandatory - you can book up to 7 days in advance and go on the waitlist if the class is already full. Please make sure you book in advance to avoid disappointment. How do you book online? You need the Gymmaster app, you can download the app here:

Spin Studio: 25
Group Fitness Studio: 20
AquaFIT classes: 25
Functional classes: 12

Aquatic Area:
You are not required to wear a face-covering in the pool, sauna or spa, however, you are required to wear one when entering and exiting the main facility.

Sauna

Booking is mandatory - you can call us to book your sauna timeslot on 07 5744909 or download the app to book online. You can book either 15-minute or 30-minute slots (if you book a 30-minute slot, please take a break or two in between).

Spa Pool

Maximum of 4 people in the Spa at any one time, out of consideration to other members, we ask that you limit your use time to15 minutes.

Swimming Pool

We do ask that you please use the lanes correctly, and be considerate of others in the pool. Good news: the Spa and Pool are chlorinated, chlorine kills all the bugs!
