While New Zealand is at Alert Level 2, we have made some changes to our timetable.

Please note, numbers will be limited.

 

Timetable effective while we are in Alert Level 2.

Please note, lane swimming is not permitted during AquaFIT classes.

About Classes at LEVEL 2

Numbers will be limited in classes to allow for physical distancing

 

Group Fitness Studio:

      Please stay in your 2 metre square as outlined on the carpet    |    Wipe down all equipment after use, before putting away

      Use a sweat towel

 

Spin Studio:

      Spin bikes available for use have a seat to allow for physical distancing    |    Please wipe down all bikes after use

      Use a sweat towel

 

AquaFIT:

      Please respect others’ space by maintaining physical distancing of 1 metre

Spin

Performed in a group cycling format, spin is a great way to decrease body fat and increase lean body mass. Participants control intensity by modifying the resistance, cadence and body position. Short on time? Spin45 is a 45minute session.

 

Begin 2 Spin is a great way to get started!

AquaFIT

Aquafit classes are a fun and safe way to improve fitness and tone muscles with low to zero injury risk. Exercising in water provides extra resistance to work your muscles harder and get your heart pumping.

BODYCOMBAT® is a high-energy martial-arts inspired workout is totally non-contact. The instructor will challenge you to up the intensity and motivate you to make the most of every round. You’ll release stress, have a blast and feel like a champ.

BODYPUMP® is a weights class for absolutely everyone. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition (reps), BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout that burns lots of calories.

Exercising muscles around the core, CXWORX® provides the vital ingredient for a stronger body. A stronger core makes you better at all things you do, from everyday life to your favorite sports - it’s the glue that holds everything together. All the moves in CXWORX® have options, so it’s challenging but achievable for your own level of fitness.

LES MILLS GRIT® Strength is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, designed to improve strength, cardiovascular fitness and build lean muscle. This workout uses barbell, weight plate and bodyweight exercises to blast all major muscle groups.

 

LES MILLS GRIT® Athletic is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) sports conditioning workout, designed to make you perform like an athlete. This workout often uses a step, bodyweight exercises and sports conditioning training to increase your overall athletic performance: strength, agility, speed and power.

Request one of our virtual Les Mills classes. Choose from CXWORX®, GRIT®, BODYBALANCE®, BODYPUMP® or BODYCOMBAT®. Ask one of our friendly team to push play on your selection! First person to ask in each timetabled slot will choose the class. Get together with other Oceanblue members or jump into an ongoing class and meet new people!

Les Mills BODYBALANCE®, is the Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates workout that will leave you feeling centered and calm. With controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses, you’ll build strength and flexibility.
