I started Personal Training sessions with TJ to lose weight, tone up and also to learn how to do boxing. I then decided to join the Police Force where again TJ has helped me prepare for the Fitness and Strength tests utilising the weights and boxing as a combination to achieve this. I have enjoyed my training with TJ, he has taught me so much within Oceanblue’s gym, for example different variations of Core & Resistance type exercises. TJ has also educated me on proper nutrition advice and has been a great person to talk to during our training sessions.

I am a qualified exercise practitioner with 25 years experience in the gym industry. Throughout this time I have identified a wide range of exercise routines utilised to target various training goals. My goal as a personal trainer is to share this knowledge with anyone willing to accept the challenge to change their lifestyle through physical activity. My guarantee as your chosen personal trainer is to guide, motivate and encourage you to achieve results.

With 25 years experience in gyms throughout New Zealand, I am able to cater for both women & men of all ages with the following:

• Lower Back & Abdominal Strength

• Muscle & Abdominal Development

 

All training regimes are tailored to suit each individuals level of fitness and strength. You will be guaranteed a variation of exercises designed to achieve your personal goals.

 

 

At 74kgs and 23.4% bodyfat, I initially sought the help of TJ to lose weight. TJ prepared me to achieve my first goal to cycle 80kms of the Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge. TJ then laid down the 2nd challenge to compete in the NABBA Body Building Championship. The decision to enter was life changing; weighing in now at 55.5kgs & 12% bodyfat. The icing on the cake was placing 3rd place overall in my competition.
